I am a carpet cleaner in essex and i have my adwords set up so I have a sd group for some towns i cover withg just two keywords at the moment for each

carpet cleaning town

carpet cleaners town

But i thought i was missing out on

carpet cleaning

carpet cleaners

so i set up one for those only problem i get hits from out side Essex. now I know you going to say  use the setting to exculde people from outside but that would have an effect on all ad groups which is no good. setting up a campain would it not have the same effect?

the reason for all this is that i have local numbers for each town

Am I missing something? help please

Respects

Ian Harper

Hello;
When you target one location you don't have to exclude others; What you need to do is set the Geo-targeting to "people in my location only"; (vs the default: "people in or  searching about....")

Hello,

You can include or exclude locations at campaign level setting. Adwords provide a facility to include/exclude country or a particular location(city, state or area) for your campaign.

you can do it through -

Select your campaign

Go to the setting tab

Go to all setting tab

Find location option and edit it...

Choose only your relevant locations.Keep it up Smiley Happy
