Google's Image Ads Not Showing Cross all Formats

Anyone experience this? When you create image ads using the "suggest" feature, and google lets you enter a 50 char headline, 75 character description and a CTA button.... and then when you preview it, it looks BAD in some of the sizes:

1. CTA button "See Specs" shows as "See Sp..." in 300 x 250

2. Title blends into description in 160 x 600

3. Black description blends into blue background edge on 120 x 600

These seem like glitches... Why would google take on the design and response, restricting the character count, if it doesn't work in all the formats?

Why would the cta that works for "learn more" concatenate to "See Sp..." when I use "See specs"?

Is the preview function broken or does google really show ads with text sitting on top of each other?

Here are some examples:

Thanks!

You can enter up to X number of characters, but not all sizes may be able to display all those characters. So you have to preview all the sizes and either alter your message to fit all sizes, or only select the sizes that can display the entire message. As for the CTA button, if you changed the default from learn more, but didn't save it, then some versions might not preview accurately.

Thank you for this Tom. Is this a final answer? I don't understand why Google would let you display more characters than can actually fit... I guess it's what I have to work with, but I can't help to ask: Why impose a limit in the first place if it has no bearing on if it will fit or not?
