Giving up on Adwords! Image incorrect size problem

I've completely given up on AdWords. I used to use this service, but never saw results. The user interface worked at one time. Now I simply get the, "Image incorrect size" message every time I try to run an ad. I've wasted two hours on this BS and wonder now if Google perhaps gave up on their own product? How can ANYONE run ads with this issue???

I had to ask the obvious, but were your ads the correct size?

Are you 100% certain that they were all in those dimensions, in those file formats and below 50kb?

I've NEVER come across this problem with ads that actually fit those constraints.

Perhaps you could post a link to one of the images and we'll be able to tell you what's wrong with it?

Hi harrelsontrumpe,

Sometime we get error in image ads of over size, file type, image size etc.

If you are using non-animated image ads then you can only have file types JPEG, JPG, PNG and GIF.

When it comes to file size you need to have max 50 KB.

and Image size allowed are  -

    * Mobile leaderboard: 300 x 50
    * Banner: 468 x 60
    * Leaderboard: 728 x 90
    * Square: 250 x 250
    * Small square: 200 x 200
    * Large rectangle: 336 x 280
    * Inline rectangle: 300 x 250
    * Skyscraper: 120 x 600
    * Wide skyscraper: 160 x 600

I am sure if you will use above you will not have any issue again but If you still have any issue then you can try to create image ads using "Display Ad Builder".

Find more about image ads here.

Thanks
