Geo-targeting by Latitude / longitude?

Heyhey,

I've been using Zip-code targeting for a couple months. But for those of you with experience, know that about 30% of zipcodes within the U.S. are currently not supported within adwords.

From my list of 10400 Zipcodes, I can only load up 7500, a 27% loss. No biggie, but it ads up with potentially lost customers.

Either way, I thought perhaps Lat/long + radius targeting would be possible within adwords for the unsupported zip-codes?

Any ideas?

Thanks Smiley Happy

Hi Leo,

Welcome to the community.

I haven't used targeting with coordnates before.

But these is an option to select target geographies based on coordinates.

It is under - Settings >Location > Edit > Advanced Search > Radius Targeting.

Hope this helps,

Hello ;

Keep in mind that Geo targeting is not perfect;. You might get clicks outside the targeted area. ( Users that their IP is assigned to your targeted area through physically outside.)
