Is there way to dynamically change the copy/text on the display ad? We are trying to promote a blog from our website and we want the copy of the ad to change dynamically when there is a new blog.

Hi Amy,
There's no way to do this in the AdWords UI or Editor, but you can do this with the API. You can find details here: https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/?csw=1

You'll need some programming experience though but it's really not that difficult.

I'm not sure about AdWords scripts at the moment but you might want to look into that here: https://developers.google.com/adwords/scripts/

If you're not a programmer or don't have the resources to get something developed using the API, I'd consider the easy option, AdWords Editor: http://www.google.com/intl/en/adwordseditor/

You can quickly update mass amounts of Ad Text and upload the changes in bulk. Note however that no matter what option you choose, your ads will go back into the review process if they're edited and you'll have to wait for them to get approved again.

Hope that helps.

Hi

Great suggestions from @Dave_Davis  on AdWords scripts and API.

I believe Dynamic Search Ads might be easier way of doing it of course you really cant control headlines the way you want but its worth a shot.

Hope this helps
