Hi,

I was wondering what are the advantages for using DKI instead of creating multiple AdWords campain ? Is it only a quicker way to get multiple keyword ads with only one campain ? Hope i'm explaining myself good.

Thanks !

Welcome To Our Growing Community,

Benefits of this tool if used correctly:

  • It may increase your click through rate. When someone is looking for that specific keyword, and this is automatically inserted on your ads, then a user may find it relevant thus he is attracted to click on your ads.
  • It captures the user's interest at the moment of relevance more specifically. Imagine, if you have a single ad that is generic and you offer different services like AdWords Consultant, Business Consultant, Legal Consultant etc. Then this tool will save you time to write ads for everyproducts or services that you offer

Consultant?                                                      Legal Consultant?

www.example.com                        vs                 www.example.com

Your Search Ends Here!                                    Your Search Ends Here!

Read Reviews & Request A Quote                      Read Reviews & Request A Quote

  • It automatically bolds the inserted words, so this makes your ads more prominent!
  • So Higher CTR can increase your quality score which will lower your cost per click.

NOTE: Different campaigns, same domain on search? No, it is not permitted. Only one domain can run in accordance with double serving policy. What you can do is one for SEARCH and one for DISPLAY.

Hi Jonathan,

In addition to Loraine great reponse, I would recommend reading thread on DKI. We had this discussion yesterday & this thread includes some other thread links and Google help center links too.

Hope it helps!

Thanks

Maybe , what you mean is different ad groups, one domain.

Let me make sure we are mutual in understanding the structure.

Let us say:

Campaign: Online Store (www.example.com)

Ad group 1: Men's Shoes (www.example.com/men-shoes)

Ad group 2: Women's Shoes  (www.example.com/women-shoes)

Ad group 3: Children's Shoes (www.example.com/childrens-shoes)

Ad group 4: Men's Wear  (www.example.com/mens-wear)

Ad group 5: Women's Wear  (www.example.com/womens-wear)

Ad group 6: Children's Wear  (www.example.com/childrens-wear)

and so on....

Hi Again,

You can use same domain with multiple campaign but the targeting should be different & it should be under one Adwords Account. You can run exactly same campaign for two different location such as separate search network campaign for UK, separate search network campaign for USA. Also when you create same campaign within your single account you ad compete with each other which is certainly not a good strategy.

But you can not create multiple accounts for single domain. Please read double serving policy in detail.

hope it helps!

EDIT: Missed your post Loraine (your are fast) Smiley Happy
