Hi Team,

I have some question about the ad exchange and display networks:-

1) What is the difference between these two ad serving channel?

2) What are the basic matrix for these channels?

3) what is the platform to serve these ads?

Thanks & Regard,

Rishi

Hi Rishi,

Basically Ad Exchange is a platform for buyers and sellers where the users can leverage that technology to showcase ads using different channels.

In terms of Google you have DoubleClick Ad Exchange, which can be used to attract large number of users online and promote your product. More details can be found here:- http://www.google.co.in/doubleclick/networks/scaled-media-buying.html

Google Display Network comprises of millions of websites which can be approached to show your ads using Google AdWords as an advertising platform. Also an important point to understand here is that if your ads are targeting GDN, possibility is that they are eligible for Ad exchange publishers sites as well. More details are here:- https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2472739?hl=en
