Display impression share relative to ?
is display impression share calculated as
- recieved impressions / total targeted geography impressions
- recieved impressions / total targeted (keyword, placement, topic, audience etc) impressions
in other words, is it impression share per my concrete targeting criterion or per entire geolocation targeted?

Impression share is the number of impressions divided by the total number of times your ad entered the general auction. That means all your targeting methods are used.
