Hi Anand,

Welcome to the AdWords Community Smiley Happy

Search Companion Marketing (SCM) is a beta features. Search Companion Marketing is a GDN Campaign where basically based on a user's search on google. In order to activate these campaigns you have to get your accont whitelisted from Google representative.

How It Works:-

When a users searches the query on Search engine results page, Then adwords shows thousands of results in SERP. When a users visit any site. yours ads will appear on the site, if it win Ad auctions and the websites accept GDN ads.

In SCM campaigns, your ads will not appear on mail.google.com, as it accepts ads based on contextual targeting not user's search query.

Search with display select is the new campaign type for small budget advertisers, who want to increase their reach on GDN. Here you are not allowed to bid seperatly on display network.
