Diff b/w Control Only, Experiment Only & Control & Experiment in ACE?

Kindly explain difference between Control Only, Experiements only & Control & Experiements in ACE. Browsed through these help articles but couldn't find this information:

Hello and welcome,

 

ACEs are meant to try and see if experimental changes you make to your account are effective enough and whether you can implement them in your account fully or not.

 

While setting up the experiment, you have the option of how much percentage of the control/experiment you want. For examply if the split is 50-50, it means thant 50% account is under control and rest 50% Adwords is going to make the experimental changes as per the settings you have. Once you set the experiment, you cannot change it until it ends.

I have the same question..I understand what ACE is but I don't know the difference between Control Only, Experiment Only & Control?? i.e. some blue, some are green..
