DSA - how to split brand and non-brand traffic

Hi everyone,

I hope you can help me with the following riddle.

I am trying to figure out a way to split DSA for brand and non-brand traffic. I want to measure those separately. I can easily exclude brand keywords, but then I will miss the brand traffic. As far as I am aware, DSA is not taking into account keywords, so I can not create a separate campaign just for the brand keywords. Is there any workaround?

Thanks a lot for all your answers!

Hey Ani,

You can indeed create exclusions for Dynamic Search Ads (DSA) campaigns that will work similarly to negative keyword targeting. This should help prevent your DSA campaign from targeting brand KWs but a DSA campaign dedicated to brand campaigns seems contrary to the very point of using a DSA campaign. I recommend you try exclusions for DSA and then simply having a search campaign for brand KWs.

Let me know if this answers your question!
