Changed images in Google Merchant Feed months ago...

We've been trying to up our game in google shopping and I've taken over our google merchant feed and adwords campaign. For some reason the image links I've changed to make our ads look better still are not showing. Is there any way for me to get google to recognize these changes? It has been about 3 months since these links have been adjusted. I've been fetching the feed every day as well. Any help is greatly appreciated!

typically, images must be re-crawled and re-cached before being used.

be certain no id values change for any item so that
the image crawled will match the product-listing-ad.

verify the updated image under the products-tab of the
merchant-center-account, by clicking on the item's title --
be certain the image seen matches the website landing-page.

otherwise, google may take upwards of six-weeks or more,
before images begin to appear within product-listing-ads --
there is no guaranteed time frame.

sometimes, adding a random parameter to the image_link value,
or changing the image_link url value (image file name) entirely,
may help; e.g.
