If I change the AdWord filename from a .html to a .php, will that be disruptive in any way?

I have a client who has had .html ads implemented for a while. I am wanting to update them. Will chanigning the ad url disrupt or interrupt anything in any bg way? OR can I just change it and all will be good?

Hi Zoe S,

If you change the destination URL of the ad, it has the effect of deleting the current ad and creating a new one. Your old stats will still be available.

If you change the destination URL at the keyword level, it does not have the same effect.

Best of Luck!
