Can't add user to Google Merchant account

My manager tries to add my email to our company's Google Merchant account. However, I accidentally created my own empty Google Merchant account.

Now that my manager tries to add me, he get's an error:

We were unable to add this email address because it is already associated with a different Merchant Center account.

What should I (or my manager) do in order to resolve this? All we need is to make it possible to add my email to company's Google Merchant account.

there are a few choices --

(1) use another (google) email account -- that has not
been associated with any merchant-center-account.

(2) swap yourself from your current merchant-center-account --
by adding (inviting) another email as an admin user
and then revoking (removing) your email from the
merchant-center users settings:

this is usually best done by using two different browsers --
otherwise, logging in and out of google, multiple times,
to accomplish the swap, is required.

(3) explain the issue to a support specialist to ask if
the merchant-center-account can be disassociated
from your email (google) account.

generally, once a google (email) account has been associated with
the merchant-center there is no way to undo the action directly;
a user's email can be associated with only one merchant-center-account.
