Big Issue - New ads with same copy different URL

Editor provides a setting in the options to always create a new ad if there is a different URL.

This worked just fine with destination URLs, but seems to be ineffective for Final URLs.  The only workaround I can come up with so far is to put some minimal change into either the ad copy or the display URL, since it will create a new ad in each of those cases, then do a find/replace to remove the minor change.

Has anyone come up with a better solution?

Copy Final URL column as Destination URL column (so you have two columns with the same data). Import - you'll have a bunch of ads with both URLs, marked with red errors. Select them all, and clear destination URL.

This is basically the same technique as yours, only it's easier this way to add bogus data and to get rid of it later.

Thanks, Igor. That is an easier way to strip the bogus data. Hopefully this will be resolved in a future version of Editor.

This is still an issue as of today.

The new release has arrived. Download it manually, or wait for auto-update to kick in sometime within the next 24 hours. This release uses final URLs to disambiguate, rather than destination URLs.
