Can someone please explain to me what assisted clicks are?

Previous Clicks on the ads

For Example if a User clicked on the ad for the keyword "ABC" before later clicking on an ad for the keyword "XYZ" and get converted then keyword "ABC" have 1 assisted click and 1 Assisted Conversion.

HI Jack,

Assisted clicks are the total number of clicks a keyword received prior to a conversion (excluding the last click).

Thankyou Rahul,

Just for clarification, where are clicks happening? previous clicks on the ads until one converts, or clicks on the website before the click that fires the conversion tracking?
