How to Pause the campaign when the specific campaign monthly budget reached using the AdWords script? And how to get the email alert when the budget limit reached with the script?

Hi Meena,

No need for a script. You can use an Automated Rule.

  1. Go to the Campaign tab and select the campaign.
  2. Click on Automate and choose Pause campaigns when...
  3. Choose cost as the requirement and enter an amount
  4. For frequency, choose Daily, 2am, using data from the same month
  5. Email results only when there are changes or errors

Be aware that you should rely on automated rules alone. You should also have an appropriate daily budget in place.

Pause 'Test Campaign'' if budget 'this month' > $2,020, add label 'stopped by monthly budget limit', email alert to 'test@gmail.com', and "re-enable" the campaign next month
