Ads under review for extended amount of time?

Anyone else noticing ads staying under review for an unusual length of time?  I have an account where I've been waiting on text ads to be reviewed since the 12th.  

 

Was wondering if anyone else is seeing this?

Hey Theresa,

 

This tends to happen to me more often then not - not sure what causes this other than the explaination that Google sends when inquiring:

 

"We do try our best to review ads at the earliest but there are times when there is a delay in ad review because of the number of requests we get. However, I assure that upon your request, I have escalated these ads to our specialists for review and I will write back to you as soon as I have any updates on this matter."

 

As you probably already know, you can submit your ads via the Ad Approvals and Policies form as soon as this happens and they are very good about escalating the situation to the top of the list for review.

 

The form can be found at the bottom of this page - Contact AdWords Support. You must be signed in to gain access.

Thanks, Bluelon. I do know that delays can happen. One of the ways I find out about a backlog in the ad review process is when people start complaining about it here on the forum. Smiley Happy

 

Like your experience, I'm seeinng it on just this one account and the problem has been going on for a month with various different ads.  Drives me bonkers....

Theresa,

 

I think you have my email address.  Feel free to email me your adgroup, campaign, or account ID and I can try to look into this.  I know our backlogs are a little higher than normal recently, but they shouldn't be that long, so I'd be interested in figuring out what's going on with your ads and seeing if there's a bug lurking in our system somehwere.
