Ads Pointing at Domain & Sub Domain In One Ad Group

Hi guys,

I know that all the ads in one ad group must have one destination url. Can I have ads with sub domain destinations url's as well?

Eg. Ad Group A

Ad 1 Destination url: http://www.example.com/

Ad 2 Destination Url: http://go.example.com/

Input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Robert,

***Please see Pete's Answer Below***

I've been running different destination URLs in my account and hundreds of client accounts for MANY years now.

Here's the destination URL policy:

Hope that helps.

Hi Robert O,

The restriction is one top-level domain per ad group. In this case, both http://www.example.com/ and http://go.example.com/ belong to the same top-level domain.

Best of Luck!

Hi Roberto.
Yes, you can.

And FYI, all ads in one ad group do NOT have to have the same destination URL.
It is a best practice though for testing ads.

Just the domain has to match.
