Why there are some ads in the Google search have yellow background? What's the difference with those don't have it?

When people are doing Google Search, it often comes up with some ad information in the right column on the Google page.

Why Google sperates it? for what reason?

Hello Chenbo

The search results in the yellow/tan box and in the right column are paid ads. These companies have purchased space through Google (AdWords) to promote their website. The other listings are organic or free. Google has determined that these are the most relevant website in regards to your search. The organic listing is an entire separate system then the paid ads.

In addition to JeremyL answer, the top 3 ads above the (organic) search results have a yellow background to differentiate them from the organic search results
