Account Access Levels

Hi. I was wanting to understand the levels of account access to a second party for managing an account. Now I did go through the FAQ section and did discover the basics. However, I have a specific question. Which of the account access levels does not allow making changes to daily budgets but can allow making changes to keywords and their respective bids.
Thank you!

Hello Shalini K ! Welcome to the Community !

I don't there is such a level, as the one you are describing.

This is the page with the levels

https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1704346?hl=en

And the level bellow the Standard acces which can change all budgets is only the "Read only" level, which can only view stuff.

"

Read-only access

  • Can receive notification emails
  • Can view and run reports from the report center
  • Can browse the Campaigns and Opportunities tabs
  • Can browse the Contextual Targeting tab (in the Tools and Analysis tab)
  • Can unlink My Client Center accounts

Standard access

  • Can receive notification emails
  • Can view, edit, and manage any part of an account and its campaigns
  • Can't give account access or change another person's access level"

Hi Shalini K,

Adrin is Correct.

Adwords does not allow such type of access in Account level.

However you can see who has changed your campaigns budget though the campaigns change history.

You can visits the following links for account History.

https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2454137?hl=en

and For Account Access Level.

Good point Rakesh

Here is the text he is reffering to

"User: If multiple users with different logins manage your account, you can use the drop-down menu in the Changed by section to view changes made by a particular user."

Hi Adrian,

I am trying to find the definitions of the various Access Levels. Many posts give the same link as you to the page entitled "Share and manage levels of account access":

https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1704346?hl=en

However, I cannot find the definitions anywhere on this page! Perhaps it has changed.

Specifically I want to know the difference between "Administrative Access" and "User Interface and API"
Thanks!

WOW .. thanks Smiley Happy

that was an fundamental exam question which says:

A My Client Center (MCC) account manager wants to grant Standard Access to a linked client. Before making this change, the account should consider that Standard Access users can:

A) Invite others to access the account
B) See average cost-per-click (CPC) coasts.
C) Change the access levels of other users.
D) Delete the account.

so (B) is the most close one Smiley Happy
