302 Redirect and passing parameters

I have a site in which I I converted from asp to php. As a result I had to recode my landing pages to php.

From what i understand, I can use 302 redirect until I change out the destination URLs in my keywords.

After setting up and testing a 302 redirect in the .htaccess file, I notice it drops all parameters from the URL. My URLs have alot of parameters in them, including custom ones.

Is there not a way to pass these values in a redirect? My search of 301 and 302 redirect discussions in this community do not discuss such an issue.
