Youtube annotations in AdWords for video: Yes or No?
I'm trying to find out if it's allowed to use a Youtube video with annotations for in-stream ads. Adding them would be a good way of making the pre-roll more informative, however, not sure if it would be alright.I've found an article related to annotations and advertising, however, it looks a little bit slipperly for me. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for your help!

There is nothing to prevent you from having an annotation on the YouTube video that you use for an in-stream ad. You will just need to make sure that the annotation itself complies with our policies. For example, it should be family safe content (like the video), and shouldn't contain any trademarks that you aren't authorised to use.
You can find more information about our policies on video ads here.
