I'm currently trying to figure out how many people skipped my skippable ad on my youtube channel. I've been digging through youtube analytics but I'm not sure which numbers I should be using to calculate that percentage? Would I be using ad impressions and monetized playbacks?
Thanks for posting to the Community! To get this insight into your instream ads, you'll want to compare the view vs. impression metrics for the video ad in AdWords. Impressions will be the total number of times that ad has been shown to users, whereas a view is only counted if a viewer watches 30 seconds of the ad, or the full ad if it's less than 30 seconds.
