Video Played to 25% means x% of Impressions or x% of Views?

An Impression becomes a View if user is watching to 30s. I'm getting 1% at "Video Played to 100%" (yes is an unusually long video) so is that 1% of my Impressions (yay) or 1% of my Views (bad) ?

Hi Gordon,

From the tooltip in the UI -

"Video played to" measures what percentage of viewers watched to that point in the video.
Example: If video played to 25% is 30%, it means that 30% of impressions watched at least one-fourth (25%) of your video."

Views can also be triggered by clicks as well as viewing the video to the 30 second mark.

Thank you,

So if says it got 30% at "video played to 25%" then that is how many
IMPRESSIONS made it past the 25% mark - and NOT how many VIEWS.

That's the big question for me and let me know if that's wrong.

Hi Gordon,

Click the little question mark in the column header above the quarterlie breakout - you can see it for yourself. Smiley Happy

tips.

Maybe is a different perspective I'm using or something. Can you please
just restate what you're reading for me in that tool tip thingie?

How come the % amounts below these headers doesn't add up to 100%.

Video played to 25% Video played to 50% Video played to 75% Video played fully

74.0%

63.5%

57.7%

53.8%

Hi @Jason C,

Viewership diminishes over time - these represent a point in time during any given video and the % of viewers who made it to that point.

Example:

100 people/viewers total for a 60 second video

60% made it through 25% or 15 seconds

50% made it through 50% or 30 seconds

40% made it through 75% or 45 seconds

35% made it through 100% or 60 seconds

Hope this helps!
