too many clicks

I have been getting an unusual amount of clicks far more than normal but without any extra commerce,

is it possible that a program or something is clicking on my advert because all are from an unspecfied location

The geo-report is typically lagging behind a day or two. *Unspecified* may mean that data have not arrived as yet, from various servers. I'd wait till I get the report and see if there is an unusual pattern.

Hi,

If 900/5000=18% CTR is extraordinary in your business line you should also consider that:

     (a) an improvement in your ad's position may cause an increase in traffic

     (b) click traffic may vary due to seasonal interests or current events

Please also get familiar with how Google detects invalid clicks:

However, if you're still concerned about possible click fraud you may initiate an enquiry by filing a click quality complaint here:

http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/request.py?contact_type=click_quality

Please complete the online form while you're logged in your AdWords account.

Best,
