Re: how to add tracking code to destination url
You'll want to be aware of two kinds of tracking code:
1. AdWords Conversion Tracking, https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722022?hl=en
These will be recorded in your conversions column in AdWords. Conversions are different for each business. They can be sales, leads, sign-ups (to websites, email lists..)
The tracking code for these should be placed on thank you or confirmation pages once a conversion has occurred.
2. Analytics Tracking, https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008080?hl=en
This tracking code you should place on each page. Here you can track a lot of site usage information for users, which includes activity outside of just AdWords (and even Google Search)
You will want to post this on each page of your website
Hope this helps!
