Hi Eva,

There are some data discrepancies between adwords and Analytics. Google won't charge extra from you.

Please read the following from Google support -https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1034383?hl=en

I hope this helps you !

Thanks and Regards
John Paul

Hello Eva,

One scenario could that if someone clicks your ad, it doesn't necessarily mean that he is going to visit your website as well. Someone might click your ad and doesn't turn up on the website. In that case it will be considered a click in AdWords, but not a session in Analytics. This might happen in your case. Session will only be counted if the web page was properly loaded in the browser. That's my understanding.

Other discrepancies are explained in the link mentioned above.

Also note that you are not charged for an invalid click because Google has sophisticated tools and techniques to diagnose that and if you want to get an idea of how many invalid clicks were recorded, you can customize the columns and add Invalid clicks as a metric to review that. You can also troubleshoot invalid clicks using this troubleshooter: https://support.google.com/adwords/troubleshooter/2557048?hl=en

Eva O,

I think the suggestions in this thread while time was spent on them aren't very well suited for your question.

Data Sampling exists in GA you can read about it here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2637192

You can adjust the sampling rate in your reports. More on that here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1733979?hl=en

Some other items worth pointing out:

One individual may click an ad multiple times, which would record as 1 Session in GA. Read more about that here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1257084?hl=en

Though my hunch is that you may have a data discrepancy.  Look into your GA pixel implementation, as well as your AdWords pixel implementation. One of the two is inaccurate, and generally the difference between GA and AdWords should be near or close to 10%. They're likely not "invalid clicks" in the volume you're discussing.
