Hi Johnny,

 

Depends a lot on your particular niche or industry. However, if we are looking for rough averages I'd say that anything close to or above 2% is sort of acceptable on the Search Network. Regarding the Display Network that threshhold should be around 0.01%. *Decent* should mean 2x or 3x that limit.

Don't focus on specific CTR. They are very dependent on position and behave differently in different verticals. I see many times where 90% of searches click on just the top ones, other verticals where there's an almost gradual decline while others show very similar rates in ads on the first page no matter the position.

 

What you should concern yourself about is the QS. It's the measure of how good your CTR is compared to your competitors and takes position into account.
