Why is it that Adwords CPC is automatically the cost deducted from account whereby Adsense still need to divide 1000 impression X 100 = earning? Please let me know more info about this. I know that this is business but I just want to know how it works. Scenario ( I used Adwords to advertise my website, and use Adsense to add revenue, but when I compare the result I found out that something I don't understand and why) Please give me or more info the comparison.

Thank you

Best Regards,

Marcelo

Hello,

In AdWords, CPC simply means that how much is an advertiser willing to pay when someone clicks the ad. https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/116495?hl=en

Similarly, as per the Adsense help center reference (https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/32725?hl=en) CPC in terms of ad sense means:

The cost-per-click (CPC) is the amount you earn each time a user clicks on your ad.

If you are unclear about how AdWords deduct the cost, you can re-post here. But in case you think confusion is regarding AdSense, I would suggest posting this query over Adsense forum. This is the link: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/adsense
