I've been having an issue for more than 6 months now where I try to disable my tracking templates, or remove them in bulk - and they keep coming back. I can't find any instructions on how to remove them and it's turned into a real pain.

I figured out the issue. We use the Hubspot Ads add-on and I didn't realize that it automatically was adding a tracking template. So I was removing it in AdWords, but Hubspot was adding it back in.

Hey Ron,

if you're referring to tracking variables than you'll have to disable your auto-tagging for it to work. Here's an article on how you can go about doing this:

I believe auto-tagging has been around far longer than tracking templates, so I didn't realize the two were tied together. My understanding is that auto-tagging is for utm_ parameters that are built into the gclid. The tracking template is where you add custom url parameters typically used by an agency or for your own internal use.

I'd hate to have to go back to manual tagging every url.
