Tracking Sales Dollars on Google Conversion ONLY

We recently put some code in (as directed by Google help) to allow us to see how much sales dollars we are generating on the web site.  We really want to know how we can track only Google orders.  The information we currently get in Google Analytics gives us all sales for our web activity over a certain period of time.  How can we receive information on only Google conversions and not all web orders?

Hi Ken P,

You can import the transactions from Analytics to AdWords as conversions. AdWords will then be able to add up all the AdWords sourced orders. This works pretty well.

Or, you can segment the Transaction list for paid traffic (cpc) in Analytics. Problem with that is Analytics attributes the conversion to the last non-direct source, and that means some of your AdWords sales will be attributed to different source.

Best of Luck!

Hi Ken, further to Pete's reply, if you're looking at Analytics data for paid traffic then you can use the new Attribution Model Comparison Tool to change the data depending upon whether it's measured by first or last interactions.

It can get pretty confusing to be honest but you should be able to get a good idea of what's going on.
