Hi,

I need some assistance with my remarketing list:

1.) I read article (https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2476688)  which says "Use Google Analytics tracking code instead of the AdWords remarketing tag” option selected in AdWords"  i want to know where to make these settings.

2.) I use Google Tag Manager to manage all tracking codes/tags, while reading https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2611268?hl=en    article "You enable Remarketing with Google Analytics with a simple, one-line change to your Google Analytics tracking code" . I want to ask do i need to make this change if i am using Google Tag Manager to manage all tags on my website.

Thanks

Hi,

1.) You have misinterpreted the first one. You don't have to select any option to get analytics remarketing working.

2.) You don't need to make this change if you are using Tag Manager. Just tick the check box called "enable display advertising support" when creating the analytics pageview tag.

Hello,

I have a doubt about point 1.... I have both tags on my web site: the adwords one and the analytics one, but I think that the adwords one generates the lists as it´s the code that appears next to the list... How do I set the analytics one to work instead of the adwords one? If I errase the adwords one, are we going to loose the search remarketing list?

Thanks
