Remarketing code : Ref/URL GET param did not match with actual URL

Hi,

I have copied the remarketing tag & added it to a webpage however when checking the google tag assistant it says:

Minor Issue: Warning: Ref/URL GET param did not match with actual URL.

Not really quite sure what this means?

Hi Lianne M,

This error means there is a mismatch between the actual URL of the webpage and the referring URL recorded in the HTTP request.

It sounds like where ever the code is firing from is not the intended URL - are you using an iFrame or a container to host this code?

You can read a longer explaniation at the bottom of this page, but if you still need assistance I'd suggest getting in touch with your local support team.
