Other Search Terms (The Invisible Ones)

We are noticing that about half of our clients' search impressions are bucketed under the "Other search terms" line at the bottom of the search terms report.

 

CTRs for "other search terms" are very, very low, leading us to believe they are mostly irrelevant search terms.

 

Does anyone have any tips for how to uncover exactly what these invisible search terms are so that we can add them as negatives?

Hi Kris,

 

It affects everyone. You can't use the Keyword Planner to find them, because they are too uncommon to appear there either.

 

If you have exact versions of your most common search queries in their own ad groups, that makes it easier to see the affect of the "other search terms" as they will be triggered by your broad and phrase keywords.
