Number of Clicks not consistent

Hi,
We have a GoogleAd campaign active. I see all our enabled key words and total clicks they are showing adding them all up is 2 (we just started). But in the bottom of the page at all enabled ad groups the number of clicks is 18. We have only one campaign and only one ad running. Where is the 18 coming from? the number of impressions doesn't add up either
Thanks, Sam

Good one @Archit! Sam that is probably #1 suspect.

Usually when the data is slow coming in it's not off by that much (18 clicks).

Usually that would be because you have paused some keywords that accumulated some clicks before they were paused.

AdWords campaign data can't be relied upon until 8 am on the day following the one you're looking at.  Sometimes the data is stable before then, but not always.  There is post-processing and data collection going on for up to 8 hours after midnight, in the time zone your campaign is set to run in.

Also, make sure you don't have any filters applied.

The date range should be set accordingly, when you look at the data per above. In other words, look at yesterday after 8am the following day.

Data is more likely to be erratic in a brand new campaign, it sometimes takes a couple of days for data to stream in steadily.

Hi @Sam A,

In addition to @Steve B suggestions, I would like to ask if the campaign type is not the Search network with display select and the data(18 clicks) may be from the display network.

To see this data, you need to access the display network tab.
