Not Able To Use Analytics Code for Remarketing
I'm trying to make a remarketing campaign. I went to create my audience and it didn't give me an option to use the GA code already on my site, even though Analytics and AdWords are connected properly.
I figured out today I think it's because I didn't have the Remarketing feature available in Analytics. But I've already generated a new code to put on the website. I'd rather use the GA code that is already on the site, but now it seems I don't have the option.
Does anyone know how to change this?
Re: Not Able To Use Analytics Code for Remarketing
Have you ensured that you've enabled the display/remarketing features in your Analytics account? Unless your Analytics tracking code is very outdated, there shouldn't be a need to change it.
Walk through this and make sure you're properly set up to use Analytics audiences. https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2444872

Re: Can't Use GA Tracking Code for Remarketing
You have confirmed that you have already updated GA code on your website. Please cross check your Analytics setting as per PPCBossman suggested.
You can also upgrade your code as per below screenshot:-
Could you please cross check this also:-
Did you generated Remarketing Code in your AdWords account through Shared Library >> Audience and paste the Remarketing Code on your website within <head> </head> tag.
