Multi-Device attribution ( From Apps to MTD or Vice versa)

Hi I was just wondering if  it possible to measure cross device conversion from say Desktop to Mobile App. In this scenario John Clicks an ad on his laptop but later converts on his mobile app when he is on his way home on the train. I know there's a new feature called estimated total conversions but it did not say it covered cross device conversion from apps and vice versa. Needs some info to implement a new strategy thanks.

Hello.

It's possible, but only with Universal Analytics and you need to identify the users yourself. Either by requiring them to log-in or by identifying the origin of a click as I wrote here: https://plus.google.com/+CalinSandici/posts/Mjf8VL5Aoc6

Google won't tie the clicks for you though, even if the user is logged-in to Google and they know it's the same person. But they do use such data in order to come up with their estimations.
