Looking for the reason for 'invalid tracking template'

Hi,

Can anyone help find what is invalid in my upgrade attempt?

The destination URL as it stands is:

http://www.SITE.com/PAGE/?adgroup=lorries_monitoring&term=%7Bkeyword%3aunspecified%7D&pi_ad_id=%7Bcr...

(as working and pasted from the AdWords interface, with redactions)

The Final URL / Tracking template I'm currently trying is:

invalid template.jpg

Which looks to me like a straightforward separation of the relevant parts in the recommended format... but something is wrong!

Thanks,

Phil

Hi Phil,

{lpurl} ValueTrack parameter is used to reference that final URL, AdWords puts together the URL your ad links to, by replacing {lpurl} with the final URL. Please check this article for more detailed feedback:

P.S. - you didn't assign any value for {lpurl}

Hi Alexey,

Thanks for your reply. Could you please let me know what you mean by not assigning a value for {lpurl}? As I understand it, that value is simply the final URL, which is filled in above.

Thanks for your help,

Phil

Phil, try to paste http://www.SITE.com/?url={lpurl}&adgroup=lorries_monitoring&term={keyword}.......... in tracking template not just http://www.SITE.com/?{lpurl}&adgroup=lorries_monitoring&term={keyword}..........
