Linking Conversion tracking to campaign

Hi to everyone!!

Just one question: suppose that I want to create a campaign and the conversion pixel has already been pasted on my thank you page. Question is, when I'm creating the campaign, do I have to link the campaign to the conversion pixel or that would be automatic?

Thanks for your help!

Best!

Hi Carlos,

No you dont have to link conversion pixel to the campaign, you will automatically start seeing conversions in your adwords interface for particular keywords and campaigns.

Hope this helps.

Hi Rohit!

Awesome, thanks for your quick answer!

One more thing, when the status of the conversion pixel is "unverified" that means that the code is not been inserted properly? Or it will remain that way until a conversion happens?

Thanks for your help!
Kind regards.

Hi,

It will remain unverified, till Google verifies it. So, to check if the code is placed properly, just check if its in the footer of the page. Once one conversion happens, you will see its "recording conversions".

Happy to help.
