Is there a substitute for a "thank you" or other type of conversion reached page?
I am working on an account where it is not possible to add a "thank you" or other completion page to the "goal achieved" in setting up conversion tracking.
Does anyone have any ideas about whether there is another way to measure when the visitor has 1) signed in as guest; 2) signed up as member; 3) deposited money in their account?
Re: Is there a substitute for a "thank you" or other type of conversion reached page?
This will surely be tied directly to the set up, page flow of your website and the actions involved in each scenario. The key as you seem to understand is that the conversion code needs to end up on a page that follows the action you would like tracked.
Scenario #1 - If there is an actual 'sign in as guest' process and it is not just understood if they are not a registered user, the conversion code should land on the page that follows the guest sign-in process (assuming it is different than a member sign in).
Scenario #2 - If there is a "Confirmation of Registration" page, this is where you should include the conversion code.
Scenario #3 - Again, there should be a confirmation page for this action where the conversion code is placed.
Hope this helps!
