Hi CPW,

Impression share metrics are only calculated when your ad is eligible to show - if a user has 'seen' your ad 6 times it will no longer enter into an auction for that user and therefore no longer be eligible.

From here:  http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=52760

"To estimate impression share, our system analyzes the ad auctions over the course of the day, and uses internal data such as Quality Score information for you and your competitors. It includes all auctions where your ad showed or where the system estimates that your ad was competitive in the auction. For example, it could include auctions where your ad could show at twice its current bid, but could exclude auctions where your ad is estimated to need a 1000% bid increase in order to appear."

Hope this helps!
