If a user click the ad and close the browser quickly, would it count for a valid click? How could Adword detect frquent capping? by cookie or IP?

Hello jantiman;

 

Yes. It will  be a valid click, and you will be charged, even though Analytics will not record it as a visit. (One of the reasons for variations between Analytics and Adwords data)

 

The system identified abuse of the system mainly by identifying the user's IP

Hi jantiman,

 

I believe frequency capping is tracked by a cookie--that would be a 3rd party cookie sent to Google
