Hi friends,

I would like to write up tracking template for URL options at Campaign level:

{lpurl}?utm_source={_source}&utm_medium={_medium}&utm_content={_content}

Custom parameters (at campaign level) are:

{_source}=google

{_medium}=ppc

Then provide content at ad group level

{_content}=name_of_group

at Ad level, final URL will be provided, for example:

http://www.example.com/xxx/fill-the-form.html

Is it right?

Thanks so much for your comments.

Hello Sam,

Welcome to AdWords Community.

Though, you are good to go, it can be easier.

There's no need to use {_source} and {_medium} as Custom Parameters because I believe they are going to be the same across your account, right?

If so, simply use it like -

http://example.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&utm_content={_content}

Hence, your Shared Tracking Template will be

{lpurl}?utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&utm_content={_content}

{_content} is here the custom parameter for Ad Group name which you would set manually at adgroup level. If you are okay with Ad Group ID, you can use the ValueTrack  {adgroupid} instead.

Thanks
