How to track conversions that came in via website and clicking email?

Currently our website has two ways to place an order

 

1)  Fill out order form, which sends us the order details to our email.

2)  Visitor can click our email address on our page, and email us using their email program of choice.

 

I've placed the conversion pixel into the thank you page for 1), but what if they click the email address and email us.. then how do I fire the conversion pixel so I know what ad/campaign/creative sent the lead?

Hi Net M,

You can implement Google Analytics event tracking for your email links and track them as goals in Google Analytics. From there, you can import the goals into AdWords and from either side, AdWords or Analytics, the attribution will be accurate down to the keyword level.

You may find this easier to do within Google Tag Manager - take a look at event tracking within GTM - Tommy's solution is the way to go, GTM may be the easiest way to get there.
