How to find AdWords custom parameters in Google Analytics

Hi all!

We currently have the following tracking template set up in AdWords:

{lpurl}?utm_source=google&utm_medium=pla&utm_term={keyword}&ad={creative}&matchtype={matchtype}&adposition={adposition}&gl={_gl}&utm_nooverride=1

With the following custom parameter set:

{_gl} = 50561

My only question is how to breakdown our visitors based on this custom parameter in GA. I've looked through all dimensions multiple times to find some kind of custom label, but can't see anything.

When viewing our PLAs or standard ads, the custom parameter is appended to the destination URL as expected, but I just can't find how to break down our traffic by this custom parameter.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello, Nick.

You should create a custom segment with a condition such as Landing Page contains 50561. In theory, that should do it.

Hope it helps.
