How calculate the total cost of missed calls in Adwords?

Hi there!

 

Could you please clarify how can I calculate the costs for the calls which marked as `missed` in Call details report?

They`re not free for advertizer by the way, am I right?

Hi Irina,


The short answer is that there is no direct way of doing this within AdWords.

 

However, it might be possible to cross-reference different reports to get the answer, with a bit of effort.

 

in Dimensions > Call Details you can see the date, time, campaign and ad group for each missed call.

At Ad Group level you can use Segment > Click Type to see which paid clicks were for Click to Call.

 

So if there was only one missed call per ad group per day, you will be able to work it out.

 

Or just average the call costs from Dimensions > Call Details to get a rough idea.

Hi there!

Thanks for the idea, though it`s a tricky variant, which takes a lot of my
time.
There`s over 35 campaigns with multiple Ad groups inside in the account. I
can find lots of mismatches, when the call is missed in dimensions, but 0
clicks in Mobile clicks-to-call row in the same Ad group.

It could be awesome to have the report in AdWords in future.
