Hiding conversion.js does effect analytic tracking?

Hi All,

Since this inserts an iframe, it is displayed on site,but we want to hide it.

Does hiding inside a division effects Google Analytics?

<div style="display:none">
<script type="text/javascript" src="//www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion.js"></script>
</div>

Regards,

Hello Rajkumar,

Welcome to the forum Smiley Happy

As per my understanding, Google Analytics and Adwords conversion tracking scripts work independently. So in case you are customizing one script, it shouldn't impact the working behaviour of other script.

You might want to review this article.

Hope that helps!

Hi Pankaj,
Thanks for your reply.

We are not customizing any conversion script.
Since google inserts an iframe on the site dynamically, we want to hide that iframe,
I guess hidding that will not effect the tracking on google anlytics.

Hello again,

In general, Analytics tracking should not be impacted in case you are changing something in Adwords conversion tracking.

That's my point of view.

Hello Rajkumar,

You can get the conversion is a number of different formats. One of those formats does not display anything on the page. When you use that format, there must be someting about it in your privacy statement that you use third party to track certain information.

Go back to the conversion and generate the code with no display and you'll be fine.

Best of Luck!

Pete
