Google Analytics Cross Domain Tracking

Hi Guys,

I have a question on Google Analytics.

In my campaign, the landing page will be at (for example, abc.com, but the purchase page is xyz.com).

In this case, I understand we need to apply Google Analytics cross domain tracking.  Just to be sure, I will just need to set up one Google Analytics account and use one tracking code to track both domains, as described below?

Is that correct? Pleas advice. Thanks in advance!

Hi Pui,
Yes, that is correct.

However, you need to be able to put the code on the second destination URL, especially if you're tracking conversions.

If you're using a third party payment processor and you're redirecting back to your main domain afterward, you need to add the payment processor URL to your referral exclusion list.

If you want to provide more details, I'll be able to advise further.
