Dynamic conversion tracking values in Google Tag Manager

Hi

Can anyone help me? I have an ecommerce client and we use Google Tag Manager to manage scripts. What I want to know is how to dynamicly change the values in the Conversion Tracking Code through GTM. I've read and tried the post from Vinoaj Vijeyakumaar http://www.clickz.com/ when I go into Search Funnals in AdWords the value is still set to 0.

Can anyone help?

Hi Nathan,

I would suggest you to read this user article by theniks where he has explained the usage of Google Tag Manager intelligently: https://www.en.adwords-community.com/t5/User-Articles/AdWords-Conversion-code-with-Google-Tag-manage...

Also, here's the developer guide link explaining GTM in detail: https://developers.google.com/tag-manager/devguide

I hope that helps somewhere!

Thanks but that's not what I asking. The link you sent me was giving a value of 10 manually in the AdWords Conversion Tracking code. What I was thinking was to create a macro called conversionValue, Micro Type: Data Layer Variable, Darta Layer Version: Version 2.

On the site (Above the GTM Code) add:

dataLayer.push({
'conversionValue': ''
});

and dynamically insert the values. Would this work?
